TELFOR 2014

in the SAVA Center, Belgrade, Serbia

TELFOR is an international regional IEEE Conference.

TELFOR is co-supported by "TELEKOM SRBIJA", IEEE Region 8, VLATACOM, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia, IEEE Serbia and Montenegro Section, PTT Communications “Srbija” and other supporters.

TELFOR 2014 MAIN RESULTS

  • 335 submitted scientific and R&D papers;
  • 285 accepted and 50 rejected papers;
  • 19 invited, 255 regular & 11 student accepted papers;
  • 2 Special, 36 regular & 1 student authors’ sessions;
  • 10 special/technical/information sessions of companies/institutions
  • 4 commercial presentations of companies;
  • 10 companies/institutions at the TELFOR’s exhibition (SW, HW, Systems & Services);
  • PTT “Serbia” Museum special exhibition “160 years birth anuiversary of Michael Pupin”;
  • IEEE Region 8 Professional Seminar for students and young engineers;
  • 17 companies and institutiona TELFOR sponsors and supporters;
  • 6-9 parallel tracks each day;
  • 53,5 % authors’ registrations outside Serbia, with authors from 37 different countries (surrounding countries, European Union, Africa, Near & Middle East, Russia, …);
  • around 700 authors/coauthors, speakers and presenters;
  • 150 members of Committees and technical support;
  • 142 active reviewers;
  • around 1500 registered authors/coauthors, visitors and participants (all of them got free CD Proceedings of accepted papers);
  • only 7% unexcused no-show authors;
  • all authors/co-authors paid minimum one registration fee per each accepted paper;
  • it was free access/participation for all visitors (non authors);
  • all finally accepted papers are offered to be published in IEEE XPLORE Digital Library;
  • several best papers awards were granted at TELFOR 2014 conference;
  • Open Access scientific publication TELFOR Journal is publishing selected best papers from TELFOR conference, with extended and improved results.
  • NEUREL 2014 Symposium was held in parallel with TELFOR 2014;
  • European projects “FORE MONT” and “LEXNET” had significant activities during TELFOR 2014.
